It is a good idea to have one for at least your cell phone.
You will find you need a certain type of charger for each type of electronic device. They aren’t universal so what works for one project isn’t’ going to work for the next. Should your charger stop working you will need to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. You can also buy them at various sites online. They will vary in price but they are often a necessity. Car chargers are optional but they do come in handy when you don’t have time to wait around at home for the device to charge.
